My story
Jewelry and accessories with a rare material origin.
I traveled to Israel on a Taglit Birthright trip, and one day we drove out to a moshav near the Gaza border. That is where I met Yaron, the artist who collects the remains of rockets and Iron Dome interceptors that have fallen on the region and that get given to him, and turns them into something entirely new.
Watching him work, I was immediately blown away. The idea of taking metal that was used for devastation and reshaping it into art, into something you can hold and wear, stopped me in my tracks. Standing in his workshop so close to where these pieces of metal had landed, the whole thing felt impossibly powerful.
I knew I had to bring his work back to Australia. Every piece is made from that reclaimed rocket metal, handmade by Yaron in Israel and finished into a clean, modern form. The result is jewelry and accessories with substance, weight, and a material origin that ordinary pieces simply cannot claim.
